Our task with Gillette was to create a program that tied together different talents from the music world and to show the art of preparation. The result was Gillette UNCUT, a series of digital documentary short films that captured the pre-show rituals of Tim McGraw, Will.I.Am, Mark Hoppus and The All-American Rejects. The backstage exclusive garnered over 14MM views and spent 14 weeks in the top 5 of AdAge’s viral tracker. Viewers were then driven to a digital hub on Gillette.com for tongue-in-cheek shaving tutorials where they learned to Shave Like a Rock Star. ProVentures partnered with filmmaker-photographer Danny Clinch and Greenlight Media & Marketing for the creative and distribution.
